yeah i think the reason is that oracular spectacular is easier to replicate on stage with proper instruments, as a lot of their first songs were made on a laptop. which is why they play Kids.. how they do. they also don't seem to regard their old stuff as decent when they discuss it in interviews so obviously have moved on from that kind of music.
i still have a soft spot for some of those tracks though.

Good news - they played Destrokk at their two earlier shows this week, so it may become a regular part of their set.
Btw - I'm pretty sure they played We Care at a few gigs last year/in late '07.
