What song should MGMT do a cover of?

I'd like to see them do "Be My Lover" by La Bouche as a joke, Haha!
But for an actual cover, anything by the Pixies or Blind Melon would be cool.

Iunno about Lay Back in the Sun - could they do it better than Spiritualized? It's tied for my favourite S song, so I'm a bit wary about handing it over to be experimented with.

I think if they were relatively sober, they'd cope with it alright.
They managed to sculpt TJaMC's Teenage Lust's sound veeery nicely, so.
That being said, experiencing Lay Back in the Sun performed live by Spiritualized is magic and nothing can beat it

Spiritualized are touring again soon, anyone going? I need a job, there's so many amazing gigs coming up.

I'd really love them to cover Heart of Gold.. Neil Young.. just because that song makes me cry and if they did it in PiecesOfWhat-styleee it could be really beautiful.
