I'd like to see them do "Be My Lover" by La Bouche as a joke, Haha! But for an actual cover, anything by the Pixies or Blind Melon would be cool.

"Last Kiss" - by whoever Pearl Jam did a cover of.
And I thought it'd be funny if they did one of "Benny and the Jets" :-D

Ditto anyone/everyone that suggested "Sugar, Sugar"... that'd be so ace. =)
Iunno about Lay Back in the Sun - could they do it better than Spiritualized? It's tied for my favourite S song, so I'm a bit wary about handing it over to be experimented with.
Alphaville - Forever Young Billy Idol - Dancing With Myself Men Without Hats - the Safety Dance (yesss!) CSNY / Madness - Our House (not sure if they'd touch CSNY... but either song would be interesting to hear them do.) Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man Mungo Jerry - In the Summertime XD Prince - Raspberry Beret Prozzak - Omoboloasire ("out there" maybe, but it'd just be so funny!) Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes Ramones - Cretin Hop rofl. Sixpence None the Richer (/The La's originally I know, but the covers are better.) - There She Goes (definitely.) The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize (or is it not an old enough song yet? it'd still be awesome) The Killers - Under the Gun ... am curious how MGMT'd make it sound.

I think if they were relatively sober, they'd cope with it alright. They managed to sculpt TJaMC's Teenage Lust's sound veeery nicely, so. That being said, experiencing Lay Back in the Sun performed live by Spiritualized is magic and nothing can beat it
