So that's the new Flaming Lips and Jay-Z albums ruined then.

Hmm, I was sceptical about this first because MGMT did some stuff for Kid Cudi's album and Kid Cudi was also apparently going to collaborate with Jay-Z/Jay-Z said he wanted to collaborate with Kid Cudi so I thought it was just some gossip/someone reading too fast, but I guess it must be true because Pitchfork's reporting on it.

I'm excited, I bet it'll be a pretty neat turn-out (Oh lord, I actually like rap. Music blasphemy, I know I know)

I hate Kanye, but I prefer his music over Jay-Z's anyday. :|

At least it's not Lil Wayne. Or like, Chris Brown or Ne-Yo or something. Or Fiddy.

THIS. Jay-Z is actually pretty respectable, Rick Rubin worked with him after all.

I shudder at the thought of a shitty pop collab with them types

Blasphemy for the win, hip hop is the shit. Furthermore, Jay-Z is the man.

I got some dirt on mah shoulder can you brush it off for me?

The indie kids these days, they don't have their fingers on the PULSE.

I am still quite excited for The Blueprint 3, but I don't like that MGMT are guesting, not that I have some sort of silly "boo silly rock artists shouldn't work with rap artists or whatever" rubbish, I'm worried that they would make whatever track it is suck... Like "Homecoming" but worse...

I'd actually prefer if they did something with Kanye because then he'll probably force them to sing in autotune which would make them sound FUCKING HILARIOUS.
