No way - it was chaos at Bonnaroo. Be there at least two hours beforehand. I know it may sound ridiculous like you've got nothing better to do, but I'm predicting that a festival like this - Bonnaroo, but cleaner and on water! - is going to be just as packed and crazy. :-/

At Splendour, I got there at 3:00 for an 8:00 set. And I was second from the barrier. Couldn't even get on it, it was full from 3:30 till the Flaming Lips finished at 10:30. Get there as earlyyyy!! as you can. Well worth it
