highlights included an encore of Just Becuz, We Care and a 30 min jam session of the Ghostbusters theme song. Andrew threw tortillas into the crowd. a fight broke out near stage between a guy and a girl which was diffused by Matt shaking his finger at them like your mother would do. they sounded the best i've ever heard them. at one point Andrew took a girl's giant spoon (she was dressed as icecream or something) and started licking it and then stuck it in his crotch and pretended it was a large <ahem> phallic object. the crowd was great, the set was great. possibly one of the best shows ive ever been to with quality opening bands. and at their merchandise booth they had free "masks" of cindy crawford's face with the eyes cut out. classic

Oh my. Andrew looks ridiculous but I love it. Ben looks cuuute. Hopefully there'll be some video on youtube soon too. I'd love to see some of the Ghostbusters thing.

Thanks so much for the pictures, Ospectacular! I really wanted to see the costumes after hearing about them on the podcast so yay you.

sorry theres no vids guys. i was too wrapped up in the songs/drunk to even think of it. we care and just becuz were exactly like in climbing to new loews. except i think they hadnt played it in a long time so ben and andrew were reallllly into it (and so was i).

i think andrew was wearing make up again... the woman theory just keeps on getting confirmed. did i mention that matt and james did a choreographed spin during electric feel?

For what song did Andrew play drums? I know he used to do it with The Youth, but I doubt that was the one.

And when they played We Care and Just Becuz, who played what instrument? Like did all the guys play stuff? Or was it like old school Andrew and Ben time?

Sorry for the questions, I just want a mental picture.

Andrew played drums during the Ghostbusters jamming. the guy in the ben franklin red outfit isnt matt actually, its the bassist from Amazing Baby (their opening band and i think old friends). Will actually came on the stage randomly for some of Amazing Baby's songs and played in the corner creepily. it was cute and very cheesecake-esque

We Care and Just Becuz were not played with instruments. just the track playing and them doing it karaoke style, singing their hearts out. they didn't even name the songs, they were just like- these are really really old songs. and somehow they transitioned from We Care to Ghostbusters without stopping.
