nah they've made up for it. blame the ones who still listen to the song and cover it to death
i didn't like hail to the thief that much either, it's got some great songs in it but i tend to skip certain tracks a lot. in rainbows brought the love back

it annoys the shit out of most people. it's overplayed. and does not represent radiohead's music at all.
