I don't know why Channel 4 didn't want them in their highlights, the entire gig was recorded though and MGMT requested a copy of it, dunno if they're allowed to publish it anyhow, but who knows.

It depends how old you are really but for a lot of people who are now in their 20's / 30's, Oasis were a shining light amongst a LOT of sh*t music in the mid-90's. I know they changed my world a lot when they came on the scene. They just seemed to speak a lot of sense to the youth of that generation. I can understand why people aren't too keen on them though.

Not hearing good things about their Bestival set via Twitter, but who knows! It seems a lot of people expect something much different from them at festivals.

Oh god that annoys me, both times i've seen them it's been SO incredible, people just exppect them to play Kids repeatedly for an hour or something..
