Halloo.
Just a question to everyone who has attended an MGMT concert; what was the setup? I am quite intrigued as to how they begin and end their show.

I'm saying this for the umpteenth time: I may never be the same again.

Hi,
Another first time poster and another taper like ultrahome . I taped them at Birmingham last night (10 Nov) using iRiver and Church Audio mics and the setlist was:
1. Pieces Of What 2. Of Moons, Birds and Monsters 3. Weekend Wars 4. The Youth 5. Future Reflections 6. 4th Dimensional Transition 7. Time To Pretend 8. Metanoia 9. Electric Feel 10.The Handshake Encore Break 11.Kids
(I'll double check this when I give it a good listen tomorrow)
There were loads of technical problems with the guitar pedals, so big breaks between songs which spoilt the flow a bit. This may account for the set being a song or two shorter than Bristol.
I'll give the recording a good check tomorrow and post the flacs on dime and mp3s here via sendspace (providing that's OK). I obviously don't have access to the media section this being my first post, so if a mod would rather I PMed them the link so they can stick it up in the media section let me know.
I also taped them at the Birmingham Academy 2 on 12th May 2008 - I guess that's been distributed around here, but if it hasn't let me know and I'll happily post that sometime.

Hi Tim, You may well be correct, as there is certainly an extended bit on the end of Metanoia that they didn't play last time I saw them so could well be a different song that I hadn't heard before - here's a low bit rate mp3 sample (3 MB) of the 'new bit'. Electric Feel follows on after this clip. http://www.sendspace.com/file/bor44fCan someone let me know if this is a separate song and if so can anyone help with the title? I was just preparing to upload the mp3s to the media section, but it would be good to get the track splits/song titles sorted correctly before I upload them here and on Dime - thanks!
