You may have noticed on the front page there is a forum called "MGMT Media" This section includes, obviously MGMT related media, such as concert recordings, remixes, interviews, videos, pictures, press reviews, etc. etc. etc. It used to be set that the only way to see it was to register on the forum, but that caused a lot of people joining that didn't post, so now I've made an adjustment.

Now, to see the media section, you must not only register, but you also must be an active member who posts. This means that a certain amount of posts must be made before you can view the media section, how much I won't say, but it is a small amount and it won't take a massive amount of effort.

Remember though that it isn't automatic, the permission to view the forum is done manually by myself, so don't think you can make a dozen spam posts and expect to get in, you have to make worthwhile posts that aren't there to increase post count in order to get permission to view the media section. This doesn't mean you have to make every post you make as long winded and deep as this one (cough), it simply means that you don't make useless posts made up of one word or something like posting just "yes" or "no" or whatever. If you make a bunch of worthless posts, you won't get in, make some worthwhile posts like the ones posted here already by our fine members each day and you'll get in before you know it.

Also, be aware that the media section forbids any commercial material... by which I mean anything you can buy commercially, such as the album and stuff.

Remember though, it is done manually so I may forget some people, if you're not able to view the media section and feel as if you should, feel free to send a private message to my good self and I'll sort you out.

urghhhhh can anyone please tell me where i can (legally) download the tracks from the Time to Pretend EP from the UK?

I have read the media section stuff above & completely agree with it but i know i'll never post enough to be able to access it. amazon.com downloads are restricted to US peeps and amazon.co.uk doesn't list anything apart from the album & singles.

my reinstalled-several-times-over-itunes is being a complete b***ard so I can't download Metanoia either, dammit, technology is against me

(if this is a repeat question i'm sorry, i checked around and couldn't find the answer anywhere already)
any help would be much appreciated

The Time to Pretend EP is on iTunes, not sure if that''ll help too much though due to you saying that iTunes is being buggy with Metanoia...

right, in that case i'll keep kicking the computer box til itunes works again
