Has anyone gone to any festivals this summer? If so, what was your favorite part? (Other than MGMT, of course)
Will anyone be attending any festivals this summer? What are you most looking forward to? (Other than MGMT, of course)
I'm fascinated by them for some reason. Popped my cherry with Bonnaroo in June. It was the most amazing time of my life, and I will make sure to go back there every year from now on!

That's really sad, I'm sorry. You'll get to eventually, though!

I have a slight port-a-loo phobia, so no festivals for me.
Well, actually no festivals for me cause I have noone to go with.
I lead a sad, sad life.

Oh, I am so right there with you! The port-o-potties were the scariest part of Bonnaroo! Especially at night... yeesh

ewww port-a-loos.
I'd rather use a toilet placed in the middle of a city square.

Latitude roccccked. The toilets were actually pretty good most of the time. Although it wasn't very fun when you'd be busting for the loo, you'd burst into a toilet cubicle and there'd be a big shit just sitting there on the seat. And then you'd check the whole row and THEY'D ALL BE THE SAME.
But yeah, I saw lots of cool stuff - loads of comedy, the mars volta, franz ferdinand, bit of sigur ros, interpol, these new puritans, foals and lots more. Excellent.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the idea of them before I went to any festivals but they weren't so bad! I think people make out that they're so so bad that you go there expecting such a nightmare and then they turn out to be not as bad.
Anyways, this summer I've been to Glastonbury and a student festival in Cornwall called Beach Break Live. Still have Leeds festival left this summer. Went to Leeds last year and it was so much fun.
Both festivals were pretty ace this summer but I managed to miss MGMT at Glastonbury I so badly wanted to see them but thought my friend wouldn't want to....now she tells me she would! grr...
