I won a pair of tickets to Get Loaded In The Park, so i'm going to that next weekend. I'm really looking forward The Hives, Kate Nash, The Gossip, Soulwax, and The Maccabees. Not as much Beardyman

I went to Rock For People, the biggest Czech festival (though I wouldn't be surprised if no one has ever heard of it)
I was there mainly to see Enter Shikari, had to spend the whole day holding my position in the center of the 1st row, but it was worth every second of it, ES were amazing as always
And I was sooo close to going to Sziget last week but the people I was supposed to go with called it off the day before the festival, man was I upset!!! Sziget had like the best line up ever this year... including MGMT...

Did someone go to Benicassim this year ?
It was amazing I saw Justice, Leonard Cohen, Calvin Harris, Hot Chip, Babyshambles, The Raconteurs, The Kills, The BJM, My Bloody Valentine ...
It was my best festival ever, the vibes were amazing, ...

I am jealous of anyone who went to a festival this year tbh.
I'm still bitter after being SO CLOSE to going to Oxegen.

Yeahh
Everybody have to go to this festival, it's amazing. I know I sound stupid say it that again and again. But it was one of the best week of my life.
Next year I want to try an English Festival, everybody tell me that they're the best ...

if english festivals are the peak that makes me worry about the state of festivals globally. i guess i need to try out glastonbury as that is thought of as the ultimate festival here (seems a bit like it would be full of people who are there just to say "ooh I went to glastonbury! Im cool/trendy/still young, honest!")
latitude was nice but full of pansies.
reading was nice but full of people who seem to want to kill each other.
well, they were a lot better than nice... i guess if they just met somewhere in between that would be perfect.

aside from SXSW, festivals in the US arent so great, especially up by me in NYC area, we dont exactly have the space for a huge festival. APW was the first one, it wasnt bad, but it was expensive, $90 each day!
