the handshake is just too good. I saw them at acl this year, but I can't remember whether or not andrew did the whole "mmm" part before the, "you convince yourself that you want it, but you don't know..." so when I went to monterrey to see them again two weeks later, I was dying for him to do it...and he didn't. D:

haha, it was so disappointing, but I don't care. soooo good!

after their epic performance of "kids" in concert, it has stepped up to number 1 in my book. the strobe light, the sort - of - awkward dancing, the everything, it was 5 full minutes of perfection.

i voted for The Handshake. but it was quite a hard decision, there's not a single song by MGMT that i don't like. Of Moons, Birds & Monsters, Indie Rokkers and Electric Feel are definitely on my top songs list as well.

Hello, everyone! Newbie here. I thought this would be a good place to start. Please don't hurt me. :)

I've just been getting into these guys the past few months and the very first time I heard Future Reflections was just... orgiastic, for lack of a better term. (Excuse my French.) My favorite part begins as the "I saw patterns on floorboards..." It's like the auditory version of a woodland bohemian dance.

Runners up: nearly everything else, especially the Youth, 4th Dimensional, Kids, and Electric Feel.
